Duality & the Law of Polarity

Left BrainDr. Jill Bolte Taylor, Ph.D, is a Neuro-Anatomist who was trained at Harvard Medical School. Her specialty is in the postmortem investigation of the human brain as it relates to schizophrenia and the other severe mental illnesses.

In her book, titled My Stroke of Insight, she writes about her experiences in 1996, while suffering a form of arterio-venous malformation stroke, which allowed her the rare privilege of being able to study a stroke as it was actually occurring. During this stroke, she was able to watch as her own brain functions shut down, one by one – her ability to walk, talk, read and write.

The swelling and trauma of the stroke placed pressure on the dominant left hemisphere of Dr. Taylor’s brain. As a result, she was unable to recall any part of her life. But, in the absence of the neural circuitry of her left hemisphere, her consciousness shifted into the present moment. This was when the functions of her right hemisphere increased. Her right hemisphere left her feeling expansive, totally at peace in the Universe and connected as part of it.

Dr. Taylor was forced to undergo major brain surgery to remove a large blood clot that was putting pressure on her language centers. Although the stroke damaged the left side of her brain, her recovery burst forth an avalanche of creative energy from the right side.[i] She now travels the country educating audiences about the beauty of the brain. In 2008, she was chosen as one of TIME Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in the World.

I am trillions of cells sharing a Common Mind.

The Divine Law of Polarity states that opposites are really two extremes of the same thing. Life is a circle of frequencies. There is neither good nor evil; there is only wisdom and ignorance.

He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good.
Matthew 5:45

Right BrainThe left hemisphere is the side that is concerned only with our human condition. It understands logic, mathematics, sequential relation-ships and the parasympa-thetic nervous system. Its main job is to place everything in this reality into a Time line. This creates the illusion that we are finite, that we are separate from one another and separate from God.

In contrast, the right hemisphere of the brain is the side that represents the creative part of the human biology. This includes music, rhythm, imagination, intuition, humor, dreams and the sympathetic nervous system. The right hemisphere understands that we are infinite, connected in unity to one another and to God.

Peace is only a thought away, and all we have to do to access it is silence the voice of our dominating left mind.
Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor, PhD

There is no duality of good and bad. Everything is simply an experience. But, since the Fall of Man, we have been opposing the dark side of virtually everything.  This has caused us to become imbalanced. And it is the split between the two hemispheres of our brains that causes us to live life in this imbalanced way.

Light is the symbol of objectivity; Darkness of subjectivity. Manly P. Hall

In the current evolution of man, it is the left hemisphere of our brain that is being adapted. This re-wiring process is establishing new synaptic pathways between the two sides, which will promote a new relationship with Space and Time. It’s a process that will continue as we move through the year 2012 and beyond.[ii] The new way in which our brains will then begin to communicate will promote the end of duality and the beginning of Unity consciousness.

To this day the same Veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away. II Corinthians 3:14

Our true nature is pure, flawless and holy. But we have forgotten that everything else is just the Earth Game.

I saw her being interviewed a while back. Being a Dr, she knew something was wrong with her while she was at home. Because her left side was affected, she could hardly remember the phone # of her colleague whom she needed to call. Luckily he knew something was wrong with her, & sent help. I remember her describing about how her mother was taking care of her, & the sometimes bliss that she experienced as her right hemisphere of her brain sometimes felt like maybe an infant would. She’s a courageous woman for being able to overcome her stroke. I’m sure she worked hard to get that left brain working again….albeit she was a genius before the injury. Great story, and I pray that you’re right about the future of non-duality, which will no longer separates us, & the beginning of Christ Consciousness!

It would appear that the left brain is also addicted to fear and is easily persuaded to do nothing when a challenge is presented. I like to remind people that there is no such thing as a problem without an answer. If we think there is no answer to a challenge it is because we must talk with others and discover what it is we are missing. If people would be aware of this they would understand that when someone tells them their proposal will not work ,,,they have not explained the proposal in a way the other could understand. If the other can not indicate why he/she feels your proposal will not work then they simply feel threatened by it.

I read Dr. Bolte Taylors book a few years ago as I also had a near-fatal brain trauma a few years ago (impact to the right hemisphere) with an NDE-like story and so was then curious about her story.

However, after since having direct experiences with God and realizing what healing and recovery means, what has me most curious now is, what do we “think” our brain, energy/chakra systems, galactic/universe changes, or epochal shifts (etc.) have to do with anything?

Since we (All Of Life in All Universes) are not separate from the eternal, ineffable, omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, perfect, beyond space and time One God, doesn’t it seem all of these “necessary” complicated, time-dependent alignments are irrelevant?

I realize now, without doubt, that God is the center of All That Is, so to believe anything exists that is less than perfect, or that humanity or Earth needs shifting to accommodate a new age with Spirit, no longer seems to “make sense”.

“There is no separation from Love for Love is everything and so are you. You are the essence of all Creation is, and nothing can ever change this. You are timeless and you are perfect as the Will of Love expressed as you. It is essential that you accept this, that you come into this place where you recognize there is no doing, no time line, no awakening to this Love. It is already fulfilled. It is done. It has never, ever been otherwise.  It might seem, when you look through the eyes of the ego, when you see the world as the expression of duality, that there is so far to go and so much to do to bring about the shift in consciousness and to open the heart of humanity. In truth, it is all here. It has never been other than perfection.”

I only know one thing for certain anymore. The more I ‘see’ of God, the less I know, yet the more it seems Love is simple, and not at all complicated.

    Love! ♥

Good stuff, though I wonder if you meant to say that left brain/right body is sympathetic, which mobilizes fight or flight, which makes logical sense here, wiring for survival and preservation of self.

Unquestionably believe that which you stated. Your favorite reason seemed to be on the net the easiest thing to be aware of.
I say to you, I definitely get irked while people
think about worries that they plainly don’t know about.

You managed to hit the nail upon the top and defined out the whole thing without
having side-effects , people can take a signal.
Will probably be back to get more. Thanks
