Our sun is believed by science to have a solid core with outer edges that are gaseous. But, in fact, it is a portal that redirects energy from the galactic center. This is the location of the Grand Central Sun, our place of origin. And, at this precise period in history, both our sun and our planet have moved into a perfect line with it.
This alignment occurs only once in every 26,000 years. The ancient Egyptians understood that this is what causes one pass through the complete cycle of the twelve constellations that are depicted in the astrological zodiac. The tribal elders of the Maya, Hopi, Laika and Inca tribes also know this.
The Hindus break this 26,000 year cycle into yugas, which they call the Kali, Dvapara, Treta and Saatya yugas. The ancient Greeks broke this same great cycle into ages they called the Iron, Bronze, Silver and Golden ages. Modern astrologers calculate it as a cycle that involves the gradual change in the orientation of the Earth’s axis of rotation. They refer to it as the Precession of the Equinoxes.
There is a to-and-fro, ebb-and-flow and up-and-down swing to everything in life. The 24 hour cycle of day and night, the 365 day cycle of the seasons and the 26,000 year precession of the equinoxes are all caused by our planet as it spins on its axis in relation to our sun. And each cycle involves the process of ‘falling asleep’ and ‘awakening’.

The Law of Rhythm states that everything flows out and in; everything has tides; all things rise and fall; the pendulum-swing manifests in everything; the measure of the swing to the right is the measure of the swing to the left; rhythm compensates.
Like the transition from night to day and from winter to summer, both of which move us through darkness and into Light, one complete 26,000 year cycle transitions us through the dark ages and into ages of spiritual enlightenment, behind which is an ongoing evolution of consciousness.

Incredibly, we are nearing the very end of all cycles of Time. This includes the great and wonderful cycle that involves one full spin of our entire galaxy, a cycle that takes an amazing 225 million years to complete. And, on our calendar, the very last of these ongoing cycles comes to a completion around the end of the year 2012 AD.
